Trial Lessons
Trying out an instrument for the first time? Want to experience a lesson before committing?
We offer trial lessons year-round with our fantastic slate of instructors. To book a trial lesson with us, please submit an enrolment form by clicking on the link below, and include in the Comments section that you wish to book a trial lesson:
Rates for Trial Lessons are:
60-min lesson: $76.00
45-min lesson: $57.00
30-min lesson: $38.00
We recommend 30 minute lessons for kids under 10 years of age, and 45-60 minute lessons for kids over 10 and adult learners.
All prices are subject to 5% GST. Limit of one trial lesson per student.
Weekly Lessons
Students at Queensbury Village Music are expected to enrol in lessons on a weekly basis over the course of the School Year.
The payment schedule for weekly lessons is organized in three terms, with the first term covering Sept-Nov lessons, second term Dec-Mar, and third term Apr-Jun. Each term is approximately 12 lessons, but may vary depending on the student’s start date and fees are prorated accordingly.
Rates for Weekly Lessons are:
60-min lessons – term of 12 lessons: $912.00 ($76 per lesson)
45-min lessons – term of 12 lessons: $684.00 ($57 per lesson)
30-min lessons – term of 12 lessons: $456.00 ($38 per lesson)
A one-time registration fee of $15 per student, or $20 per family if you are enrolling multiple students, will be applied to your first invoice.

Drop-In Lesson Packs
Need a more flexible option? Our Drop-In Lesson Packs are ideal for adult learners with busy work schedules who would still like to have a structured music learning experience.
Drop-in lessons are dependent on instructor availability. Please first inquire with us at QueensburyVillageMusic@gmail.com, or with your instructor.
Rates for Drop-In Lessons are:
60-min lessons – 8 lesson pack: $656.00 ($84 per lesson)
45-min lessons – 8 lesson pack: $504.00 ($63 per lesson)
30-min lessons – 8 lesson pack: $336.00 ($42 per lesson)
Lesson packs purchased in the 2025/26 School Year are valid from October 1st, 2025 to June 25th, 2026.

2025/26 School Year
The 2025/26 School Year for Queensbury Village Music runs from Tuesday September 2nd, 2025 to Thursday June 25th, 2026.
No lessons are scheduled during Winter Break (December 21st, 2025 – January 3rd, 2026) and Spring Break (March 15th, 2026 – March 28th, 2026), unless otherwise agreed upon with your instructor.
Payment Methods
Payments can be done through e-transfer to QueensburyVillageMusic@gmail.com or by cheque made to QUEENSBURY VILLAGE MUSIC. Please note that the payee name for e-transfers will show up as Southern Tiger Enterprises Inc.
